Achleshwar Mahadev Temple Located on the banks of Achal Taal in Aligarh, the Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple is an ancient and sacred site believed to date back to the Mahabharata period. The 500-year-old temple’s self-manifested Shivalinga changes color three times a day and is believed to be a symbol of worship by Lord Shiva as well as Nakula and Sahadeva. It draws large crowds during the month of Sawan.
